Robyn rocking her session! - Foley Boudoir Photographer

So a few weeks ago I put out a model call. I wanted to work with ladies that have done a whole lot of living. Ladies who are the matriarchs of their families. Ladies who have raised children, maybe even starting to enjoy grandchildren. Ladies who have lots of wisdom. When I sent out the model call I never imagined that I would receive all of the touching and inspiring stories that I did. One of the ladies that I chose was Robyn. She started off telling me how amazing she is. She is a mom, she is a wife, she works full time and still manages to do a lot of living. Then she went on to explain that she was not always like that. That she has gone through a transformation not just physically but her whole self. Robyn explained to me in the email that she had lost a good bit of weight... but what I really got from the email was that she gained great confidence and a desire to live life to the fullest. I just knew that I wanted to work with her!

At the studio we discussed life. From makeup to our families and our pets! I really got to experience the woman that Robyn is. She is so full of life. Her positive attitude was contagious. Her confidence was inspiring. She was a real natural in front of the camera. The real beauty of these sessions is that I get to meet and get to know amazing women like Robyn. I learned that she builds furniture and is artistic. She was so sweet today taking pictures of the studio and myself for her own blog she wanted to write about her experience. She is a beautiful, strong and talented woman and it was an honor to work with her today! I had so much fun!
